Whole Lamb Share Deposit

Reservations for Whole Lamb Shares are now open! 

This non-refundable deposit secures your reservation for a 100% pasture-raised whole lamb share.

Our whole lamb shares are priced at $10.50/lb hanging weight. The $125 deposit will be applied towards your total cost of a whole lamb share. Hanging weight varies per animal - please indicate your preferred weight range of minimally processed cuts when placing your reservation. The final hanging weight of your lamb could fall marginally outside the range you selected by a few pounds based on availability. Lamb shares will be matched with reservations in the order in which they were received, so reserving your share early is the best way to get as close to your preferred size of lamb as possible.

Example: You choose to purchase a whole lamb share in the 40-50 lb range and pay the $125 deposit now. Your lamb's hanging weight is 45 lbs and your total payment due is $472.50 (45 x $10.50). The amount owed when you pick up your lamb is $347.50 ($472.50 minus the $125 deposit).

Ground Lamb Add-On: If you would like ground lamb to accompany your whole lamb share cuts, place an order for ground lamb here at $12/lb. Payment will be collected with your whole lamb share in early December. Ground lamb for this price is only available for Whole Lamb Share customers.

Our lambs are processed in late-November and will be available for local pick-up at the Rhubarb Botanicals Farm Store, 681 Hwy 1 S, Mount Vernon, Iowa on Saturday, December 6th from 10am-2pm. If you're unable to pick up your lamb on this date, contact us by emailing jeremy@lambsquarterlivestock.com to schedule an alternate time.

We will contact you the week of December 1st to confirm the hanging weight of your lamb and issue an invoice. Payment for the remainder of your share can be made via cash, a check to Lamb's Quarter Livestock, or credit card (with a 3% processing fee added).
